Cookie policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

This policy explains what this website stores in your browser, the categories we ask your permission for, and how to change your choice at any time.

What this covers

This policy covers the kvrun marketing site you are reading now. The kvrun application is a separate service. It uses a sign-in session to keep you logged in, and that is described inside the application rather than here.

How consent works here

On your first visit a notice offers three choices. Reject all turns every optional category off. Accept all allows every category below. Configure opens a panel where each optional category has its own switch, all of them off until you turn them on, and Save choices keeps exactly what you set. Nothing optional loads before you have chosen.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from Cookie settings in the footer of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and takes effect straight away.

AnalyticsPostHog product analytics and session replay: which pages are read, how the site is used, and recordings of visitsOff until you allow itYes

No marketing tool runs on the site today, so allowing that category currently changes nothing. If we add one, it will be named in this table before it ships, and it will only load for visitors who have allowed its category.

Analytics

If you allow analytics, the site loads PostHog, a product analytics service. It records the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, how long you stay, your browser, device and approximate location derived from your IP address, and the page that referred you. It also makes a session recording, a replay of how the page changed as you scrolled and clicked, so we can see where the site is confusing. Everything you type into a form is masked in recordings and never sent to PostHog.

We use this only to understand and improve the site. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and we do not try to identify you from it. The data is held by PostHog in its EU cloud, under a data processing agreement with us. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

If you do not allow analytics, PostHog is never downloaded and receives nothing from your visit. If you allow it and later withdraw, it stops straight away and its stored identifiers are deleted from your browser.

What we store

Whatever you choose, the site keeps your choice in your browser's local storage under the name kvrun-cookie-consent, with the categories you allowed and the time you chose. That value never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser storage removes it, and the notice returns.

Only if you allow analytics, PostHog stores a random visitor identifier and the current session in a first-party cookie and in local storage, both named ph_<project key>_posthog. The cookie lasts up to a year. It lets PostHog tell a returning visit from a new one, and is not shared with other sites. If you withdraw consent, PostHog deletes both and leaves only a small marker, __ph_opt_in_out_<project key>, that records the withdrawal.

Third parties

Fonts, images, styles and scripts are all served from the same domain as the page. No content delivery network or font host receives your IP address when you view this site.

The one exception is PostHog, and only if you allow analytics. Your browser then sends analytics events and session recordings to eu.i.posthog.com, which receives your IP address in doing so.

Controlling storage in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear site data, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Blocking storage on this site has no effect other than the notice reappearing on each visit, and analytics staying off.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights over personal data held about you, including access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection. This website collects personal data only through analytics, if you allow it. For that, or if you have written to us or hold an account, contact support@kvrun.com and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner's Office.
